Tammy Collingsworth, Vice President, Community Programs

Tammy Collingsworth, Vice President of Community Programs at AcruxKC, has been a key contributor to the organization since joining in November 2017. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Tammy brings a strong background in business, fund, and program development, marketing, higher education, and event planning. Her leadership has played a pivotal role in advancing AcruxKC’s mission, particularly through overseeing its continuing medical education and grant programs. Tammy's dedication was recognized in 2022, when she was named Director of Community Programs. Prior to joining AcruxKC, Tammy served the Kansas City region as Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Institutional Relations at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and as Member Relations Manager at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. A native of central Indiana, she holds a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. Tammy’s comprehensive experience and commitment to community-driven initiatives make her an invaluable asset to AcruxKC’s ongoing success.
